Eco Chic Bicyclist

Treceam ieri cu bicicleta prin intersectia de la Eroilor si am avut placuta surpriza sa o vad pe Dana si sa aflu cat de “eco chic” este: merge la servici cu bicicleta (pliabila dar un model mai elegant pentru doamne),

foloseste pungi din panza pentru cumparaturi, aceasta(cumparata din Canda) similara ca design cu faimoasa “I’m not a plastic bag”
si una mai practica in poze aici [1 , 2], a ales sa doneze 2% din impozit catre GreenPeace, de asemenea recicleaza hartia... Chiar ma interesasem ieri care ar fi centrele de reciclare din Bucuresti. Niste adrese aici, daca va intereseaza si pe voi subiectul.

I was there for this occasion(yeah that is my bike). I found out that there are weekly bicyclists’ gatherings (every Friday) and a bigger event in the last Friday of every month. So If you like bikes and alternative ways of transportation you could consider participating in the Critical Mass Riding gathering that will take place this Friday 28.03, meeting point at 18:00 Tineretului Park entrance.

I believe that any person on a bike (and not only) can make a statement but I suppose such a gathering can attract even more attention with the condition that it is civilized.

I went at Clubul Taranului Roman by bike and I was pleasantly surprised that I wasn’t the only one; only cool bikes and a Vespa parked in the bike racks there.
